Mural for Elizabethton Tennessee

I had a recent opportunity to create an 119" x 140" mural for the Elizabethton Walmart. The picturesque scenery associated with this rural mountain town in the Appalachian Mountains was an appealing subject. Watauga Lake is a few miles east of Elizabethton an is one of the cleanest lakes in the nation. Surrounded by the Appalachian mountains this montage features the town's scenic covered bridge and the class car shows held on main street.

The request was for a traditional painterly illustration which was perfect for my Procreate style. I developed a sketch design featuring the lake, bridge, town and classic cars plus fishing which is a big attraction.
